Hoisin Beef and Broccoli Noodles
This can be made with or without noodles. I used 2 ramen noodle packets to make this but you can use any noodles of your choosing. Spaghetti noodles would also work well.
Ingredients:
- 10-14 oz of steak, sliced into strips
- Seasoned Wok oil
- 3 Tbsp hoisin sauce, divided
- 2 Tbsp all purpose soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp white sugar, divided
- 1 tsp black pepper, divided
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp dark soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tsp sriracha sauce
- 2 beef ramen noodle packets or equivalent noodles of choice
- 1/2 yellow onion thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, any color, thinly sliced. I used yellow
- 3-4 large cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 head of broccoli chopped into florets
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds, optional for garnish
Instructions:
Steak Marinade:
2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
2 Tbsp all purpose soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp corn starch
Pat steak dry and slice into strips, combine ingredients for steak marinade and toss with the steak strips to coat. Set in fridge for 15-20 to marinate.
Prepare stir fry sauce:
1 Tbsp hoisin
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp dark soy sauce
2 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp sriracha
1/2 tsp black pepper
Whisk ingredients together, set aside.
Wash and prep veggies.
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Pour beef ramen seasoning packets into the water. Boil the ramen noodles until done and drain. Set aside.
Heat a large pan or your blackstone griddle over medium heat with 2 Tbsp of the seasoned wok oil. Add the garlic, onions, peppers, and broccoli. Saute for a few minutes to soften.
Add the marinated steak to the pan. Fry the steak flipping a few times to cook through.
When the steak is done, quickly add your drained ramen noodles and the stir fry sauce. Toss everything well to combine and coat everything with the sauce.
Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
